On The Course
Members and visitors to Wyke Green are requested to wear recognised golfing attire while on the course. In keeping with most private members golf clubs we have a few simple dress code regulations which have been drawn up to ensure that everyone can feel comfortable during their visit.
All players MUST wear golf shoes and have their own clubs. Sharing of clubs is not permitted at any time.
Gentlemen, please note that we do not allow trainers, three-quarter length trousers, denim jeans, collarless shirts or any type or tracksuits. Tailored shorts are allowed when accompanied by predominantly white, above the ankle socks. Shirts MUST be worn inside trousers. Trousers must not be tucked into socks. Golf shoes may not be worn in any part of the clubhouse apart from the changing rooms.
In the Bar
All players MUST change from their golf shoes before entering the bar area. No waterproof clothing of any kind is permitted in the bar area.
All players are reminded that the wearing of hats in the clubhouse is also strictly prohibited.
Smart casual wear is permitted in the bar area which does include smart jeans.
Ladies are requested to wear appropriate golf clothing on the course and smart casual wear in the Club House.
For security reasons we do not allow the changing of any apparel, including shoes, in the car park.
The use of mobile phones in the clubhouse is prohibited. Should your phone ring, we are happy for you to answer it but then would ask that you immediately move to an outside area to complete the call.
Your co-operation in helping us to maintain our standards of dress and etiquette is very much appreciated. Please do not be offended if you are asked by a member of staff to correct your dress. They are simply doing their job.
